Prayer is the second pillar of Islam and the pillar of religion, so children must be accustomed to it from a young age at seven as our prophet commanded us and beaten at ten, but When do we pray? This is what we will know together, dear children.
When do we pray?
Prayer has known and specific times, which is the obligatory prayer, as we pray five times a day, and the prayer times are as follows:
Dhuhr: The time of Dhuhr prayer is from the first time the sun disappears from the center of the sky until the shadow of everything becomes like it.
Asr: The time of Asr prayer starts from the last time of the noon prayer, until sunset.
Maghrib: As for the time of Maghrib prayer, it starts from sunset until the red twilight goes (usually about an hour and a quarter after sunset).
Isha: Isha time starts from the end of Maghrib until midnight.
Fajr: Fajr prayer starts from dawn till the end of sunrise.
When should we pray Fajr after the Adhan?
If Adhan that you hear is the real one, and it is issued by one who knows the times, then you may imitate it and pray immediately after hearing it, as it has already been detailed in fatwa no. 186789.
It is preferable to wait few minutes as massive number of lights obscured well the vision of dawn.
Other times of prayer
If he forgets a prayer or sleeps, he prays it when he remember, even if it is not the time.
The time of missed and forgotten prayer is when he remembers it.
It is also permissible to combine two prayers such as Dhuhr and Asr or Maghrib and Isha for any reason such as illness, travel and others.
It is also permissible for the patient to do Tayammum if he suffers because of water and it may harm him, so he may do Tayammum with the presence of water.
Disliked times to pray in
There are times when prayer is disliked, but it is excluded from them when you remember the obligatory prayer, just perform it at any time.
Disliked times are from after dawn until sunrise and from after afternoon until sunset.
These are disliked times to pray in, whether it is voluntary or naafila.
Voluntary prayer is desirable at any time except these times and the best night prayer is (Qiyaam al-Lail) in the last third of the night.
